I don't entirely agree that the lighting in this one that's the problem - just a few image processing issues from using digital. When using digital it's good to run an unsharpen mask on the image to improve definition on the edges, although if you use it too much you might get some nasty jpeg artifacts if the image was orginally saved as a jpeg on the camera itself. I downloaded the shot and ran the filter on it and it made minor improvements. I see the image is only 60k or so, I wouldn't worry too much about uploading at around 120-180k on here, again just to improve definition and lose some of those jpeg blotches.

Good work otherwise.
